Dear Visitor,
The terms set out below comprise the legal conditions applying to each Internet user visiting this site ("the Site"). By using the Site you undertake to comply with these terms and conditions without reservation. We recommend that you regularly review these terms and conditions, as they may be modified from time to time without notice. We wish to emphasize that the Site, including all its content and all the information made available on it, is intended exclusively for residents of Saudi Arabia, and we shall not be liable in any way to any user who is not a resident of Saudi Arabia.

1. Privacy Policy
  • 1.1 When you use the Site, information about you is collected at various stages of use of the Site ("information").
    • 1.1.1 Some of the information that is collected is personally identifiable information, i.e. information that identifies you by name and address. This is information that you provide knowingly ("information provided knowingly").
    • 1.1.2 Some of the information does not identify you personally and is not saved together with your details. This is aggregated statistical information ("statistical information"). Examples of this type of information are: ad links you clicked on the Site, pages you viewed, offers and services that were of interest to you, the IP address from which you connected to the Site, etc.
    • 1.1.3 Cookies – A cookie is a file that is placed on the user's hard disk by a web server, without causing any harm. It enables collecting statistical information about the user's browsing habits, in order to ascertain his/her preferences and needs and, for example, generate personalized ads. The Site may place cookies on users' computer. These cookies will be used for statistical purposes of the Site, and the data collected by the cookies will be used solely for the purpose for which it was collected. Please note that most Internet browsers are set to enable cookies automatically, but it is generally possible to change the browser settings to disable cookies. If you choose to disable cookies, you might not be able to fully enjoy the Site's features and services, since some of the applications on the Site will quite possibly not function properly on a computer on which cookies have been blocked.
    • 1.1.4 The Site stores data on dates, times, browser type, type of operating system, users' IP addresses, redirecting web page URL and other details the Site may need from time to time for its operation. These data form part of the statistical information that is required to manage the system, balance the load on the Site's server, produce reports and identify the details of a user under exceptional circumstances. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information on the Site's servers.

2. Intellectual Property
 The Site is owned and operated by Sanofi Aventis Groupe - Saudi Arabia. ("Sanofi-Aventis"). Sanofi-Aventis is part of the international Sanofi Group ("Sanofi Group"). All the materials and content published on the Site, including trademarks, logos and domain names displayed on it, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and are owned by the Sanofi Group or its subsidiaries, including Sanofi-Aventis, or licensed to them. 
No material from the Site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, distorted, transmitted or distributed in any way, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Sanofi-Aventis, except for media reporting purposes, provided that all intellectual property rights and other proprietary rights are respected. Copying is permitted solely for personal, noncommercial use. 
Any material or content copied from the Site must be accompanied by a notice that the copyright belongs and is reserved to Sanofi-Aventis, provided that any authorized use of visuals, whether constituting a component of the Site or included within it, does not lead to their distortion, modification or alteration in any way. 
The Sanofi Group and/or any of its subsidiaries, including Sanofi-Aventis, reserve the right to take legal action against any infringement of its intellectual property rights. 

3. Nature of Information
 Expert opinions concerning subject areas related to the content of the Site and extracts from press articles may be posted on the Site, as relevant. Such information represents the opinion or position of the respective expert or newspaper and is not necessarily the opinion or position of Sanofi-Aventis or any of the companies in the Sanofi Group. The Sanofi Group is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any information or opinion set forth in such materials. Expert advice of this sort reflects only the personal view of that expert, and in no case shall it be regarded as the opinion or responsibility of the Sanofi Group. 
The Site may also contain information relating to health, fitness, medical issues and types of medical therapy intended exclusively for human use. This material is made available for information purposes only and is not meant to replace advice provided by your own physician or pharmacist. 4. Links to Other Sites
 The Sanofi Group, including Sanofi-Aventis, disclaims all and any liability in relation to any third party site that was accessed via the Site. We have no control over the content of third party sites, which are and shall remain completely independent of the Sanofi Group. Moreover, the existence per se of a link between the Site and a third party site in no way implies that the Sanofi Group in any way approves the content of that site or any use to which such content may be put. External sites may contain hyperlinks leading to the Site. Such hyperlinks may not be installed without the express prior consent of Sanofi-Aventis. Sanofi-Aventis is in no way responsible for the unavailability of such external sites, and Sanofi-Aventis does not review, control or approve, nor is it responsible for, any content, advertising, products or other materials available on or accessible via those sites. It is your responsibility to take the necessary precautions to prevent the Site from being infected by any one or more computer viruses, Trojan horses or other malware. 

5. Limitations of Liability
 Sanofi-Aventis makes every effort to ensure, to the best of its ability, that the information made available on the Site is accurate and up to date, and it reserves the right to change the content of the information at any time without notice. Nonetheless, Sanofi-Aventis cannot fully guarantee the accuracy or comprehensiveness of such information or the frequency in which it is updated. Therefore, and with the exception of direct damage resulting from willful misconduct or gross negligence by Sanofi-Aventis, Sanofi-Aventis disclaims liability for: 
  • any imprecision, inaccuracy or omission in the information made available on the Site; 
  • any damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party leading to the modification of information or materials made available on the Site; 
  • Any direct or indirect damage, regardless of its cause, origin, nature or consequences, resulting from (i) access or inability to access the Site, (ii) the use of the Site, including any bug or virus that may infect your computer system or any other product. 
The materials and content on the Site are made available "as is," without any warranty of any kind, whether explicit or implied. Sanofi-Aventis does not offer any explicit or implied warranty of commercial quality or suitability for a particular purpose. 

6. Availability of the Website
 By using the Site you acknowledge that (i) it is technically impossible for the Site to be provided free of defects and that Sanofi-Aventis cannot assume any responsibility for this; (ii) defects may lead to the Site being temporarily unavailable; and (iii) the operation of the Site may be adversely affected by external conditions and parameters outside the control of Sanofi-Aventis, such as transmission and telecommunication links between Sanofi-Aventis and you and between Sanofi-Aventis and other systems and networks. 
Sanofi-Aventis and/or its suppliers may, at any time, temporarily or permanently, modify or interrupt the operation of the Site, wholly or partly, in order to perform maintenance work and/or make changes and/or improvements to the Site. Sanofi-Aventis shall not be held liable for any modification, suspension or interruption in the operation of the Site. 

7. Information on Products
 The information included and published on the Site may contain direct or indirect references to products, programs and services of the Sanofi Group which are not offered or available in certain countries or regions or which may be offered under different trademarks, and which may be subject to different regulatory requirements and conditions of use according to the country. Such references do not imply any intention on the part of the Sanofi Group to sell these products, programs or services in your country. Please consult your doctor for any information concerning the products, programs and services which are available in your country. 

8. Legal Framework
 The Site and its content shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only. Any claim arising in connection with this Site and its content shall be conducted before the competent courts in Jeddah.
